Passage: Daniel 3:1-30 — The history of Christianity is full of stories of ordinary Christians facing suffering, and displaying extraordinary courage. Faith like Daniel's friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego: that's normal Christianity. You may never be in the position where standing firm for Christ will mean torture or death. I hope you're not. My goal tonight: if you are, you'll be ready. In the process we'll see how to act with radical faith in whatever circumstance God has us. The big idea: Be Faithful to the One True God. We'll walk through it to see the pressure we're under, the faith that overcomes, and the God who delivers.
