God’s Kingdom is Expanding

Luke: God's Promise Fulfilled

Passage: Luke 13:10-21 — God rules over everything as creator and judge, but when Luke talks about “the kingdom of God” he is speaking about the work of God to reverse the work of Satan and put an end to sin and death forever. Jesus gives us the big idea in verses 18-21: God’s Kingdom is Expanding. We’ll see how this is good news for the bound, good news for the burdened, and good news for the insignificant.
