Jesus Forgives Without Measure

Passage: Luke 7:36-50 — Today's message was preached by guest pastor David Pinckney. In our passage, a sinful woman approaches Jesus and and anoints his feet with oil. Jesus tells her that her sins are forgiven. We see several things about Jesus in this story: Jesus moves towards doubters, dissenters and deniers. Jesus attracts and welcomes the sad, suffering, and shame-filled. Jesus forgives without measure. Finally, Jesus declares and delivers peace.
