Passage: Luke 7:1-35 — In today’s text, Luke gives us three stories today from the early ministry of Jesus that are designed to encourage our faith when we’re facing unanswered prayers, tragedies or confusion. Whatever is going on in our lives, the big idea to remember is this: Jesus is everything God promised he would be. Each story highlights clues that point to who Jesus is. First, his authority is wide. Second, his compassion is deep. And third, his purpose is grand.
