Love Like He Made You to Love

Passage: Luke 10:25-37 — Love is at the center of what it means to be human. We’re not made to be isolated. In our passage, we learn from Jesus what it means to love our neighbor. Jesus calls us to step into our full humanity and be what God designed us to be – someone who loves him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and who loves our neighbor like ourselves. The big idea is this: Love like he made you to love. We will walk through the passage and see three aspects of how God makes us people who love. First, his standard exposes us. Second, his example stuns us. Third, his mercy frees us.
