Proverbs: Life in the Real World

Money dominates our world. It makes us feel alive, important, or in control. It's the answer, so we think, to our frustrations or our discontentment. Fail to respect it, and you'll suffer. Over desire it, love it, and you'll lose yourself spiritually. How can we learn to properly relate to money? We need the kind of wealth God gives. The kind that Proverbs 10:22 is talking about when it says: The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. We need wealth with no sorrow added. We get our big idea from this Proverb. The Lord Gives True Wealth. True wealth, with no sorrow. How can we gain this true wealth? By becoming wise. By gaining understanding about two major principles from Proverbs: First, God's blessing of wealth, and second, our corruption of wealth. Only when we see these things will we ever be able to break the power money holds over us.
