Passage: Luke 16:1-18 — In today’s passage, Jesus tells the parable of the dishonest manager. He is teaching about money, but like so many of Jesus’ teachings on money, it’s about far more than that. How someone spends money is a window into their heart. Jesus sums it up when he says no servant can serve two masters. We cannot serve both God and money. That leads to the big idea: Serve God, Not Money. Why? We see three reasons in our text: because of the future we expect, the master we serve, and the savior we love.
