Proverbs teaches that the wise person doesn't merely work for the payoff but has a greater aim in all their work – they've committed their work to God. They work to honor him. So that's the big idea tonight: Work to honor God. Do this, and you'll become the kind of person whose plans get established, whose work pays off. How can we do that? What kind of work honors God? Proverbs teaches that we honor God when we work hard, work smart, and work satisfied.
